I am a catholic live in this country.

Concerning same sex marriage Bill I am totally against it. Because it will destroy not only the definition of marriage it destroys Canada and it will try to silence religion.

 

The Church will not remain silence on Same Sex marriage. Because it is an attack on the Church and by attacking the family you are attacking The Church.

 

We will have social unrest in this country if this bill passes

 

It is very simple the social structure will disintegrate, therefore the economic structure will disintegrate and Canada reputation across the Globe will be diminished and you will lose this country.

 

I have given you a Warning to stop same sex marriage from being legalized.

 

The Wrath of God will fall upon this country if you make Homosexual Marriage legal.

The majority of Canadians support the traditional definition of marriage.  Shortly after the Supreme Court issued its advice to the Government on the same-sex marriage issue, Canadians were asked in an opinion poll: “Do you support/oppose keeping the definition of marriage as a union of one man and one woman?” 
 
The survey was conducted December 11 – 16, 2004, by the Nordic Research Group and found that 59.8 per cent of Canadians support keeping the traditional definition of marriage. 

 

I am one of those Canadians.

 

Same-sex marriage has been misrepresented by the Government and the media as a human rights issue.  It is not a matter of rights; it is a matter of definition and the important purposes marriage serves in society.  Marriage is the union of one man and one woman.  Period.

 

I ask that you do everything in your power to oppose any efforts to re-define marriage.  Should the issue come to a vote in Parliament, I ask that you ensure that you are present on the day of the vote and that you vote against it.

 

You will have my continued support if you do so.

 

If, however, you choose to vote in favour of re-defining marriage - against the wishes of the majority of Canadians - be advised that I will be voting against you in the next election and will be doing everything in my power to ensure that you are not re-elected.

 

Please let me know where you stand on this issue, so that I will know where I stand with you.
