ONTARIO GOVERNMENT GIVES $177,800 TO PRO-EUTHANASIA GROUP

2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - LifeSite has learned that the Ontario
Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Ministry of Culture has
provided the pro-euthanasia group 'Dying with Dignity' (DWD)
$177,800 over three years to create a pilot counselling program in
Toronto. However, counselling to commit suicide is illegal in
Canada. Section 241 of the Criminal Code reads: "Everyone who (a)
counsels a person to commit suicide, or (b) aids or abets a person
to commit suicide, is guilt of an indictable offence and liable to
imprisonment for a term not exceeding 14 years." Saint
