What’s behind the words?
Charbel El Chaar
In the Lebanese dialect, we say: “What’s behind the words?”
The late Dr. Jean Shay of Toronto, Canada, said that bioethics does not matter what a doctor says. In the end, what does he want to do? What is his goal? What is the outcome?
To elaborate further, non-Catholic bioethics uses moral relativism to empty words of their true meaning. Like goats at the head of a spring, muddying the water with mud and dirt, the sheep at the bottom of the river drink murky waters poisoned by lies and deception. The strong survive, the weak die, and the first to die are the child in the womb, the disabled, the elderly, and those near death.
What’s behind the words cloaked in truth? They sow the gasoline of sex education in schools, distribute all manner of contraceptives and abortion pills throughout society, and demand a freedom that is far removed from truth and God’s commandments?
What’s behind the talk of sex education?
Today, we see that sex education for children in schools provides them with brainwashing and indoctrination of children at an early age, causing them to lose their chastity and purity through sexual sins.
Why do people demand abortion? Because there is essentially a sexual connection to the sin of fornication. Simply put, sex education is an education of sin, not grace.
Abortion is human cruelty to an innocent child in the womb. Animals do not kill their young as humans do to human fetuses in this age of civilization, progress, science, and morality!
Those who promote abortion in the world today claim they are also against abortion, but only when the mother’s health is at risk, not in the case of rape, but in the economic and social context… Ms. Judy Brown, president of the American Life League, says that all those who say they are against abortion and use the word “but” are not against abortion, but rather pro-abortion.
What is behind the mother’s health being at risk?
Are animals, when they carry their young, their health is at risk? And must they kill their young to survive? What about humans? Must a mother kill her children to survive?! What is this danger they are talking about?
They are simply making people think that pregnancy is a danger and that having a child in the womb is a disease, an epidemic, and an evil! And abortion is the treatment for killing this child?
They are simply cloaking the crime of killing a child in the womb with health. They are calling this abortion a therapeutic abortion, which Pope Benedict XVI recently condemned.
What is behind a woman’s right to choose?
What is this choice? Is that a mother’s choice to kill her child through abortion? There is a crime disguised as the right to choose to kill! The word “abortion,” which is a crime, has been transformed into the word “choice.” They don’t talk about abortion, but rather about choice.
What’s behind reproductive health?
It’s not reasonable, folks. It’s the same lie.
Those who promote contraception and abortion pretend to care for the health of young people and protect them from disease! As if sex is something dirty and the body is evil! And the relationship between men and women is a disease. They interfere between men and women who have experienced prostitution, and teach them how to prevent this disease, i.e., the child in the womb, from coming into existence through contraception. They reject it as unsuitable, and if a pregnancy does occur, they kill it with abortion pills called Cytotac, which are essentially pills for stomach ulcers.
What’s behind the right to die?
Those who promote so-called euthanasia demand the so-called right to die! Here, I emphasize the word “so-called” because I condemn these false terms and do not wish to convey them to you without first condemning them.
The culture of death cloaks evil in beautiful words like truth and health, resulting in falling into the trap of death and murder.
Father Frank Pevone, president of the Priests for Life movement in the United States, says: “Do not fear death, for it will absolve you… We do not have the right to die, but death has a right over us.”
Ultimately, we must ask the right questions and restore the true meaning of words and prevent the lies and poisons of the culture of death and murder from being passed on to our people.
