Contraception

On Pregnancy, Fornication, and Adultery
By Charbel El Chaar

We are talking about sin and the abuse of human freedom.
God gave us free will so that we may be in union with His holy will. When Jesus taught us how to pray the Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.” Jesus asked us to do God’s will. That is, to do good.
The fundamental problem with the culture and civilization of death that has spread throughout the world is the legislation of contraception to prevent pregnancy. The contraceptive mentality has created a rise in many evils, including:
1. A license for prostitution
2. Rejection of life, i.e., refusal to allow a child to come into existence
3. A license for adultery
4. Abortion
5. Euthanasia
A license for prostitution
A rise in prostitution, so that contraception becomes a license for prostitution
God is not against love. It is human nature for a man to love a woman and for a woman to love a man, and for them to express this feeling through the marital encounter in the sacred bed. For a man and a woman to have true love, which awaits, accompanied by patience, this love matures until it bears fruit in a responsible marriage that nurtures children and creates, as Pope John Paul II said, “the family, the basic unit of society.”
Contraception kills true love because it uses only instinct instead of reason and virtue, which lead future spouses to grace—that is, the arrival of the gift of grace, love, and blessing of God upon this love, so that it may be sanctified in marriage.
Contraceptive methods destroy the virtue of patience, which is also a gift from the Holy Spirit, so that people may recognize that not everything is according to their will, and not everything I want is available whenever I want it. With patience, we can endure life’s hardships. With patience, disciples learn. With patience, we build life. With patience, we eat our bread by the sweat of our brow. With patience, we gain love. With patience, life comes from God.
Jesus told us, “Apart from me, you can do nothing.” Without me, if we do God’s will, we sanctify His name in us. If we do not do God’s will, His name remains holy, but our lives become sad because they stray from truth and true light.
Prostitution and contraception destroy the fertility of young people because they are a mechanical and chemical assault on the reproductive organs. They destroy the future family because they constitute sexual abuse between future spouses. Living love outside of marriage through prostitution and adultery is a mortal sin.
Contraception destroys and corrupts morals and undermines society.
Rejecting Life: Rejecting a Child
Contraception destroys the fertility of men and women because it mechanically sterilizes fertility with condoms and condoms, and with the chemicals of birth control pills, IUDs, injections, and vaccinations to prevent pregnancy… In other words, it attacks fertility and violates the natural law that God has placed in the heart of every human being (Romans 1:1). This law has a moral dimension and is not like the law of nature.
Contraception rejects life because it separates love, life, and the rejection of a child. Likewise, vice and instinct blind the mind, and those who experience love do not know that they are also experiencing life. Because the result and fruit of love, even if it is the abuse of freedom through prostitution and adultery, is life.
A License for Fornication
The Rate of Fornication Has Rised, So Much So That Contraception Has Become a License for Fornication
I heard a priest on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) radio station in the United States say, “Fornication leads to fornication, and whoever commits the sin of fornication will commit the sin of fornication after marriage.” This is because those who experience pleasure without pain, and love without life, through contraception, become sexually addicted. This addiction cannot be cured by marriage, far removed from grace and the third person in marriage, God the Son, Jesus Christ. If they are far removed from Jesus Christ, this sexual addiction remains in the husband or wife, from multiple sexual relationships before marriage through fornication to multiple sexual relationships within marriage, i.e., through fornication, through the use of artificial contraception. For these reasons, methods of conception are also a license for fornication.
Abortion
The legalization of abortion in Western countries was preceded by the legalization of contraception, which was the first step towards the civilization and culture of death. Because contraceptive methods refused to allow a child to come into existence, and if the child does come into existence—that is, if the girl becomes pregnant with a new human being—the rejection of life with the existing child remains. Their existence was not on the minds of those experiencing love, and their presence was a psychological shock and a surprise that neither the father nor the mother, or anyone else, expected. Here, in the mindset of contraception, abortion becomes a form of contraception. For these reasons, we say that contraception is the root of abortion.
What is called euthanasia
Pro-life organizations around the world assert that when a state legalizes the killing of children in the womb through abortion, it will automatically legalize what is called euthanasia. Because when a small door is opened to the killing of those rejected by their families and society, society and corrupt laws will expand the door to killing those rejected by adults, the elderly, the physically and psychologically disabled, those with terminal illnesses, and those on the verge of natural death.
The unfortunate thing is that those who are misled… emphasize free will to the point of worshipping it. They say that people have free will, meaning: a woman has free will; she chose to have an abortion. Adults have free will to request euthanasia and assisted suicide.
Equally unfortunate is the issue of organ donation. They say we are against organ transplantation in an unethical manner, meaning without the donor’s consent, i.e., stealing human organs in one way or another. However, we ask you to donate your organs of your own free will to transfer them to another person.
Dr. Jean Chayi from Toronto, Canada, says: “A body organ cannot be transplanted from one person to another unless the donor is still alive. When the body dies, most of the body’s organs are unfit for transplantation because they have died.”
